New Celiacs-Special 2 day offer
Wednesday, October 12, 2011If you're new to Celiac disease, I would like to start by saying, welcome to the club! While it's probably overwhelming right now, I do promise it gets better. You will be able to eat. Seriously. And you will find food that tastes good. Really. You will. It's not a death sentence, well, except for when your husband is served a nice warm piece of garlic bread at a restaurant! But alas, that also will become less of a saddening affair (just as often as possible try to make sure you are eating somewhere you enjoy when he does that!). :)
The first thing you need to do is equip yourself. And for this, the internet is your friend. Search google for products and recipes. Find out not just what you can't eat, but what you CAN eat. Then check out lists at grocery stores. Trader Joe's and Alberson's both have extensive lists that are updated regularly. But first...check out this link: Jules Gluten Free on Glutenfreeville.
